This immersive auditory experience will not only tell you their stories, but take you into them.
Over the course of 3 remote interviews, a Liminal Legacy Media producer will walk your loved one through a process exploring their personal tales and life experiences, capturing their familiar voice in HD audio.
Auditory scenes and soundscapes are then constructed, turning their most vivid memories into truly immersive experiences.
Arranged chronologically, the stories create a fascinating window into the experiences of the person that stands before you today. The whole production is skillfully edited together and scored with its own custom curated soundtrack, and delivered to you in a commemorative hardwood case.

What is an Audio Memoir?It's a chance for YOU to tell YOUR story, in YOUR WORDS. A highly produced audio production with sound design and music added to enhance your stories and immerse the listener in your lived experiences. A producer interviews you to capture your stories and help you explore the details, but the finished production is simply YOU telling YOUR stories. The interviewer asking you questions about your story and experiences will be edited out of the final production.

How are Interviews Recorded/Conducted?We ship out an easy to use stand-alone microphone / audio recorder to capture your voice in the highest quality possible during the interviews. Interviews are conducted over the phone and completed remotely. We're dedicated to keeping the technological requirements as minimal as possible in our process to make it accessible and easy for all.

What's the Format of an Audio Memoir?Your completed Audio Memoir takes the form of an audio mini-series. Your story is chronologically arranged and divided up into easily digestible 20-30 minute audio segments, each coinciding with a different phase of your life . Depending on the total length of your Audio Memoir it will range from 3-6 episodes.

How is the Finished Product Delivered?The finished Audio Memoir is delivered to you on a USB flash drive along with a hardwood photo case filled with reproductions of photos from your personal archives (these boxes make a great gift!)

We've carefully designed our process and selected equipment that is very easy to use. Additionally, rest assured, your interviewer will be your guide through each step of the process.
